i suddenly feel very old
yet i feel very young at the same time
its like im almost seventeen,
sounds young, but in reality
its just four years away from twentyone
and four years isnt really such a long time
people start talking to you about university
and what youre going to do in your life
yet at the same time i feel young
so immature and childish

i just happened to chance upon
some of my sister's friends photos
and just look at them
young tender age of fifteen
okay maybe not so young and tender
but the way they act
the way they dress
its like some kids playing dressup
all done up in eyeliner and fancy handbags
tall tall stilettos and bikinis
maybe im the immature one
or maybe the kids these day
oh gosh that just sounded SO old
are growing up way too fast
since when did fifteen year old kids go clubbing
or maybe im just not used to seeing
a bunch of teenage girls drinking

then i look back
at the age of fifteen
i was errr
checking out fanfiction every afternoon
having good old school fun
hanging out in the holidays
but only once in a while /:
buying white sneakers with a pink flowers
oh goshh
maybe im a bit immature
but surely theyre growing up too fast
whatever happened to the awkward in between years
of child and adult
childish as this may sound
i prefer to take my own time
erm. exploring
and enjoying each moment of
my sixteen going on seventeen year (:
which is actually
going to end pretty soon
hehhh.

a drop in the ocean
And now I've realized that
